In the period 5-19 March 2022, a third set of expert missions to Dhaka are scheduled. The Team Leader, Romesh PAUL, Key Expert on Coordination of the National Statistical System, Jose L. CERVERA and Key Expert on Population Census, Silvan ZAMMIT, will meet BBS and the World Bank Supervision Mission. The WB mission is intended to monitor the implementation of the project, which is advancing despite the delay due to the COVID-19 pandemic. An important topic for the mission is the rescheduling of activities after the project extension until February 2023. In addition, two Workshops on the Use of Administrative Registers was organized on 9 and 14 March 2022 with representatives of several ministries and the Bangladesh Bank. During the workshop, good practices in establishing Memorandums of Understanding for data sharing were discussed as part of the technical assistance.
