The NSDS for Bangladesh Implementation Support project foresees the implementation of 12 local basic trainings. Taking the opportunity of the levied COVID-19 situation in Bangladesh the first local training on Data processing and management using STATA has been organized with the support of our local JV member IOE Limited. The training took place in Cox’s Bazar on 21 March – 1 April 2021 gathering 20 statisticians from country’s regional statistical offices. The training was led by the assigned local expert Mr Md. Golam Rabbani and was evaluated as excellent by participants. The training had mainly practical sessions, individual work and in groups using micro-computers in order to enhance participants’ skills handling data files and capacity of descriptive as well as inferential analysis of the statistical data.
